Ryan Rhodes, CFII

Ryan dreamed of becoming a pilot since he was 10 years old. In 2017, he earned his Private Pilot’s license and has been actively flying since, accumulating numerous ratings, endorsements, and certificates.

Ryan studied at Southern Utah University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Aviation Sciences and his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) credentials. He then spent over a year instructing in Southeastern Idaho, where he learned about backcountry and mountain flying. With experience in a wide variety of single-engine and twin-engine aircraft, as well as tailwheel and high-performance endorsements, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge to his instruction. Passionate about aviation, he finds great joy in sharing that enthusiasm with his students.

“Instructing is a great way for both my students and me to learn and experience more about aviation. I am excited to be flying here in Uvalde, Texas!”

When Ryan isn’t instructing, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with his family. His favorite pastimes include hiking, swimming, traveling, and exploring new destinations. Ryan’s wife is from Mexico, and he is bilingual.
