Like most in aviation, Jon has been passionate about it since he can remember. It started with his dad and uncle flying rubber band powered airplanes in the backyard. At 10-years-old Jon started flying radio control, and when he was 14 he started competition flying.
In 1986, he started his PPL but ran out of time and money. Many, MANY ninety-day solo endorsements and 30 years of life later, he received his certificate. In 2018 he earned his Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII certificates and ratings.
Jon is loving life and instructing, and is a great example of what a love of aviation and perseverance can achieve.
