As many of you know, Alex will be moving on to the big leagues to fly for SkyWest Airlines in a few months.
He has only been with us for a year, but in that short time, he has done an excellent job and helped many students accomplish a lot!
In fact, he holds the new Moses Aviation record for most First Solos and most Studnet Check-ride passes in one year. He also helped two of our students earn a write-up in AOPA Pilot Magazine.

We are very excited for Alex and wish him the very best on his journey.
His last day to instruct will be Monday, May 16th.
As you can see when you look at the schedule, it’s packed! We’re having some growing pains, but are doing our best to alleviate them. In order to fix that problem, we have hired a second full-time instructor and purchased a third 172.
Braiden Olson is scheduled to begin instructing on Tuesday, April 12th.
N46696 (Cessna 172L) is going to the avionics shop for some upgrades and should be ready for flight in about a month.
We are currently taking applications for the second full-time instructor position. We’ve had some very qualified individuals apply and will be making our final decision toward the end of April.
In the meantime, we will be transitioning about half of you over to Braiden to allow Alex to focus his full attention on students that are very close to taking their check ride.
When you book lessons in the future, please make sure to correctly select all 3 resources you need.
Feel free to go back and book on dates that were originally full as long as the 3 resources you need are available.
You may also go back to booking 2 slots per day if you like. They will typically be broken up with a short break between two Flight Lessons, or you can book a Ground and a Flight Lesson back to back. If you’re booking 2 flight lessons, we recommend that you reserve the 10am and 1pm slots. Having the lunch break between them has worked very well over the years.
