David Jarvis, CFII

David’s love for aviation started as a child, when he watched a medical helicopter land near his home and transport critically injured patients away to care in a matter of minutes. The roar of the engine, the smell of jet exhaust, and the urgency of that crew left an impression on him that never faded. From that day forward, he knew he wanted to be the pilot someone could count on when every second matters.

That sense of purpose has driven David ever since. He earned his certifications through Parrotte’s View Flight School and ATP and brings 615 total hours, 164 hours of dual given and 97 hours of actual IMC to the cockpit.

Before joining Moses Aviation, David served as Lead Pilot for a Part 91 Corporate operation, both managing and piloting a Piper Lance across multi-leg trips spanning eight states. His cross-country operations regularly took him through real-world instrument conditions and challenging weather, sharpening the aeronautical decision-making skills that define a confident, capable pilot.

David also brings experience as a flight instructor, having worked with Boeing-sponsored student pilots pursuing their Private, Instrument, and Commercial certificates. All of his students have passed their checkrides on the first attempt, something he is especially proud of. He is an active FAA Safety Team Representative and has volunteered as an Angel Flight pilot since 2020.

David could not be more thrilled to call Moses Aviation home and looks forward to sharing his passion for flight with every student who walks through the door.
